What Happens In The Families Venue?
The Families Venue hosts morning kids-only workshops, and the afternoons are jam-packed with family games, fun activities, praise parties, campfires, theatre performances and lots more!
Sign your children in to our ‘Kids Only’ session each day between 10.30am and 12pm for school years Reception-6. This is inline with our Main Stage morning session to allow parents & guardians to engage with the worship and teaching uninterrupted.In the afternoons, the whole family can engage in workshops and activities AND come along for an early evening quiz, campfire or theatre production!
For younger members of the Creation Fest family, (aged 0-4 years) head to the Splash Venue for daily ‘Splash Times’ where babies, toddlers and their grown-ups can worship and explore the bible together. Plus: story time, free play and the bubble-tastic ‘Baby Bath Time’! All activities are free, but places in our kid’s only sessions are limited, so please pre-register before you arrive on site to save time checking in and secure your space! Pre-registration form will be released closer to the event. All volunteers in this venue are DBS checked.
Meet Shell Perris
Shell Perris is our Families Venue Lead. Over the last 20+ years, Shell has pioneered many ventures as she has followed the call on her life to tell children and families about Jesus through events and gatherings, and to help people and organisations become everything God has created them to be. Shell works for Imagine The Day (ITD) as The Lions and ALIVE Leader.
In 2004, Shell became a member of Christian girl band, “TBC” and travelled all over the UK and Europe telling young people about Jesus. She has released four solo albums, had several books published (including her new book ‘God’s Promises for Everyone) and speaks at churches, conferences, and events throughout the UK.
In June 2023, Shell was involved in leading ALIVE 2023, a massive Praise Party where 9,000 children from across Coventry and Warwickshire gathered to worship God!
Originally from the North-West, she now lives in Worcestershire, UK with her husband, Tim, and their four children. Shell loves family days out, taking photos, candles, hanging out with friends and Perris pizza nights!!
